The Friends of McNabs Island Society, a registered charity based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, established this genealogical website partly in response to the growing interest in family history research and enquiries arising from that interest. Living people are entered into the database but will not be visible to the public for privacy reasons. 6. This is a dynamic database, that is, as new information is found or confirmed, the database will be updated.
