Glennie Cleveland, 88, Northwood Centre, Halifax, formerly of Fox Point, Lunenburg County, died October 12, 1993, in the centre. Born in Mill Cove, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Leander and Minnie (Miller) Harnish. She and her late husband were lighthouse keepers on McNab's Island for 26 years. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by five daughters, Marjorie (Mrs. Lyman McKay), Oceanside, Calif.; Belle Dunlop, Salem, Ore.; Joyce (Mrs. Cliff Hignett), Maple Ridge, B.C.; Joan (Mrs. Doug McGregor), Ostrea Lake; Faye (Mrs. Terry Power), Halifax; two sons, Lester, Nipoma, Calif.; Reg, Long Island, N.Y.; 24 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Colin; infant daughter, Ethel; five sisters, Grace, Pearl, Ella, Rena, Emma; four brothers, Enos, Robert, Harry, Richard. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today and Friday in Snow's Funeral Home, Windsor Street, Halifax. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. James Anglican Church, Fox Point, Rev. Jonathan Eayrs officiating. Burial will be in church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northwood Care Foundation or any charity.
